Eimer 2166 for type.
63mm. Silver. 119g. By John Pinches after B. Pistrucci.
Obverse with conjoined bust of George Prince Regent, Francis II of Austria, Alexander I of Russia and Frederick William III of Prussia. Reverse showing Victory advancing, guiding the equestrian figures of Wellington and Blucher, each in Roman dress.
This medal was originally intended to be a struck medal but such were the technical difficulties in the production of the medal that it was only completed in the late 1840's and in electrotype form by which two halves are joined together at the rim. This example is from 1965, when it was restruck by John Pinches.
About Extremely Fine with some mottled toning.
