Obverse with bust of George IV, reverse showing the King enthroned, being crowned by Victory. The official coronation issue. This type is a close copy of the medal by Pistrucci, produced by E. Avern. Examples in silver were worn by the Buckinghamshire Yeomanry Coronation Horse, which formed the Royal Escort at the ceremony. Edge inscribed 'Corp In Keen. 1st Regt B.Y.C.H'.
With suspension loop and likely original red ribbon. A few edge bumps otherwise nicely toned and Nearly Extremely Fine. Housed in an antique case that has been adapted to house the medal.
