Obverse with bust of Joseph banks. Reverse depicting an open book decorated with a garland and wheatsheaf. It is thought that this medal may have been sponsored by the Royal Society as a tribute to Banks, who had been President since 1778.
A few light surface marks otherwise Nearly Extremely Fine, reverse slightly more toned. Very rare in silver.
